Boseda Olawoye is a Nottingham (UK) based Engagement Curator and Consultant who has worked for contemporary visual arts venues locally and nationally.  She has developed and managed creative Learning Programmes within galleries, housing estates, on the street and inner city areas. Her approach to engagement always has a strong focus on “creative collaboration” empowering people through art to explore social justice and political issues that affect everyone.

In April 2017, she was appointed as the Creative Engagement Manager (p/t) for Threshold Studios “Creative Media for Social Change” a UK based media arts producers and educators who work nationally and internationally.  In this newly created role she will develop, a new engagement programme that genuinely works in collaboration with communities to create projects that can change people’s lives.

Bo has previously worked for The Bonington Gallery at Nottingham Trent University, Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham Contemporary, Tate Modern London, Backlit Gallery/Artist Studios, Threshold Studios and New Art Exchange.

She also works as a freelancer and has given talks at a variety of arts organisations and institutions across the UK.  These include Goldsmiths University of London, The University of Wolverhampton, Mark Devereux Projects, Manchester, Lancaster Arts at Lancaster University and idle women Lancashire.
